ABOUT US

School Ministries of Trumbull County (SMTC) was established as a 501c3 organization in 2022. It exists as an umbrella organization to help set up Released Time programs at school districts throughout Trumbull County. “Released Time” is the legal name under the Federal Government, “SMTC” is the name of our group and “BreakTime” is the name of the classes. BreakTime was successfully piloted in the last nine weeks of the 2023 school year, this School year it has grown to over 25 students 5th through 8th grade.

With no cost to the school or students, School Ministries of Trumbull County is run by a group of volunteers that seek to present the Bible to students in a way to engage, encourage, equip, and empower them to become exemplary citizens of our community. All volunteers have gone through some training and a thorough local and national background check.
